i started to use it today, then i turned down the heat, and suddenly it didn't work anymore.Revlon Stylix Straightner??
ahhh!! hahah i hate that! thats why i use CONAIR stuff!

either one will be good as long as it is ceramic, not ceramic plated. you also want to get one that gets to 400 F and about 1 inch think. I personality like conair or hot tools (helen of troy is the same comp but cheaper.)

~L'Oreal Feria 56 Brilliant Bordeaux (Auburn Brown) It turn out to be too light for my skin tone again, but I mixed it with a darker brown of the same brand, and it turn out pretty nice.

I also mixed this with a darker brown of the same brand, turned out really nice.

Well, I have the exact same problem. I was going from dark blonde to medium brown. I used Revlon Colorist last week picking the one that was labeled medium brown, it came out a golden dark blonde. Today I went back and bought the next to darkest one...and it came out a perfect medium brown.
So... when going lighter I would give you the advice to buy a shade lighter than what you want...because it seems like their coloring is 'safe'. (for lack of a better term)
for preventig to get redness in your shade you need to bleach first, but if you don't mind about redness go with a shade lighter than what you see.

not that specific blow dryer no, but I do use a revlon hair dryer that has a diffuser. I don't use the diffuser as much however, although I probably should..
usually I just blow dry my hair so it is dryer than damp and then flat iron it

That's exactly what we do when we wear those products. Which is the crime that the manufacturers are guilty of.
There should not be so much pressure for women to wear makeup.
The difference between this and hijab, though, is that makeup is generally made by women, for women. Men generally can't even tell if a women is wearing it, and women are rarely, if ever, castigated for going out in public without makeup on. Hijab and burkhas tend to be pushed on women by their male religious leaders. They're told from an early age that they are better off following the double standard that forces them to hide themselves.
Furthermore, makeup is intended to help women look prettier, not to hide beauty. Thus, it does not contribute to the idea that women need to cover up to avoid being ';temptresses'; and thus placing blame on women when they are assaulted. Coverings thus harm women by forcing them to hide who they are, by making it easier for men to hurt them, and by propagating the idea that they are somehow lesser than men.

Maybelline Mineral Powder Foundation works really well. It's about 18$ but lasts for awhile because you won't have to pile it on. It's light and covers redness. Make sure you apply it with a brush and in a circular motion to blend it. There is a bunch of options as to what skin colour you are.

actually there are some ppl whose face doesn't react to revlon or cover girl mineral make up... the only thing with cover girl mineral make up is that it has an odd smell to it, i mean dont get me wrong i do use some of cover girls make up line... if you wanna try mineral make-up go to www.everydayminerals.com or www.silknaturals.com, there are lots and lots of mineral make up out there that is good it just really depends on ur skin and if it reacts to the make-up...
and oh yeah bare escentuals has BISMUTH in it which makes your face look really shiny...

If your skin is perfect, you can use revlon. But if you have dry patches, oily patches, visible pores, or break outs you should deffinately go with Bare Minerals. I love it. I won't buy anything else. If your worried about the price, you can actually get it pretty cheap on E-Bay, and it's brand new. That's where I get mine.
in my opinion, i love Revlon. I buy expensive things, and im always going through foundation so i don't like buying department store kinds. I've been using Revlon colorstay foundation for 2 years now and i love it, it last and the colors are so true to your tone and it goes on natural and light and doesnt feel cheap. In my opinion, unless you've got really bad skin, i would say go for the Revlon mineral makeup. Covergirl is cheap and AWFUL. I've tried barminerals and in my opinion, its not all that and a bag of chips. Its just paying 40$ for glorified powder. My friend uses it, and its not like WOW on her ( of course, i don't tell her that!) but its not my fave. So i would say try Revlon. Its a great line!

No, many of these drugstore brands claim to be mineral makeup but contain only a small percentage of actual minerals in them. Many contain (i think its called) blimuth, which is very bad for your skin! You are better off with makeup from the Body Shop or BE.

Hi! I know it is more expensive, but I would try something like Estee Lauder, Clinique, or Lancome. I would stay away from Revlon or Cover Girl. The more quality make-up is so much better. It feels and looks better and is more natural. You should try it at least once and you will see. It is more expensive, but it does last a long time. The make-up specialists are also there to help you find the best shade for you.
Also, if you go during their 'Gift Time', you will get an extra bag full of make up and other stuff when you buy your foundation. That is the best time to go. And one of them is always having 'Gift Time'!

I just bought Maybelline liquid mineral foundation. I have tried everything under the sun and I really like this one. I usually buy more expensive brands, because quality is better. But I wanted to try a mineral makeup thats came in liquid form, and I bought this one.
It gives really nice coverage and a healthy glow.

roll so the point comes out, and there is an eraser on
the other end. It actually just flows on, not like the other
eye pencils that you have to sharpen yourself.
You can get them in different colors.
For foundation, I use Estee Lauder country mist....
01 Country Beige.....It really covers my skin so beautifully,
and actually has something in it, that will keep your face
soft. Been using it for years. They also have it in different
colors.....I buy mine at Macy's...it's around 15.00 a bottle...
and it lasts me 6 months...so for 30.00 plus tax, I have
makeup for the whole year.
I have never tried Fashion Fair, it could be good also.
However, I am so satisfied with the Estee Lauder, I would
not change.
You can go to Macy's, sometimes they will actually put
it on your face......Do not buy their eyeliner.....it is horrible.

to cut out red or pink tones in your skin u need green. I know that sounds odd but that is how it works and it does NOT make ur skin green....try SMASHBOX they make a primer called Photofinish and it comes in green to color adjust red/pink tones in the skin...hope this helps

First of all, I think you need to wear sunscreen. If you are getting ';pinkish'; it might be a bit of a sunburn. I have very pink undertones in my skin, when it gets really bad, I wear a greenish corrector (physician's formula) I have no idea what kind of cosmetics are available in India. I really would wear a sunscreen though, you don't want skin cancer and if you do maybe you will stop getting ';pinkish.';

You over processed your hair. If your hair is brittle you need to use shampoo and conditioner that mousturizes. I would also use a hair protein pack once a week. You may want to spend the bucks and use products by Matrix. Use Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner. After you shampoo use Pantene Pro-V intensive restoration treatment. It really works great!
well pantene is the worst shampoo ever it can make ur hair damaged and fragile u know I'm having the same problem coz of this BS shampoo and believe me its one of the horrible shampoo if u decide to use this shampoo be aware for the results.
Maybe your putting too many chemicals on your hair. I wouldn't color and perm to close together that's not good to do. You need a really good deep conditioner, not pantene or loreal something more professional from a hair salon. Target also sells some really good brands that may be cheaper then the salons. I know perms can be pretty harsh on hair, I would try to stay away from that. Coloring shouldn't hurt your hair, but you can always do root touch up's, that's better then always dying your whole head. Good Luck!!
Pantene is a horrible brand and it will make your hair very dry. I just had a hair stylist tell me not to ever use it also. Try Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner for dry damaged hair. I think Paul Mitchell has a leave in conditoner too. These products are more exspensive ,but worth it. At least give it a try. Good luck.
Well dont colour your hair in like 1 or 2 more years to see if the paint is doing that to ur hair oh and 1 more thing pantene dryes your hair really bad so dont use that.use maybe head and shoulders or dove but i would perfer Dove its more gental for your type of hair actually its gental to any type of hair but the best thing to use in ur condition is Dove oh and dont colour it anymore just wait for 1 or 2 more years.and u'll see the results.

well pantene is the worst shampoo ever it can make ur hair damaged and fragile u know I'm having the same problem coz of this BS shampoo and believe me its one of the horrible shampoo if u decide to use this shampoo be aware for the results.
Maybe your putting too many chemicals on your hair. I wouldn't color and perm to close together that's not good to do. You need a really good deep conditioner, not pantene or loreal something more professional from a hair salon. Target also sells some really good brands that may be cheaper then the salons. I know perms can be pretty harsh on hair, I would try to stay away from that. Coloring shouldn't hurt your hair, but you can always do root touch up's, that's better then always dying your whole head. Good Luck!!
Pantene is a horrible brand and it will make your hair very dry. I just had a hair stylist tell me not to ever use it also. Try Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner for dry damaged hair. I think Paul Mitchell has a leave in conditoner too. These products are more exspensive ,but worth it. At least give it a try. Good luck.
Well dont colour your hair in like 1 or 2 more years to see if the paint is doing that to ur hair oh and 1 more thing pantene dryes your hair really bad so dont use that.use maybe head and shoulders or dove but i would perfer Dove its more gental for your type of hair actually its gental to any type of hair but the best thing to use in ur condition is Dove oh and dont colour it anymore just wait for 1 or 2 more years.and u'll see the results.
Ok there is the stuff out there that is for all types of hair and they are all different colors like blue bottle is for more volume, pink is for dry damage hair and so on but when i find out what it is i will tell you and you can try it.....ok!!

i can't really recommend one, becasue honestly, i haven't found one myself. and even if it worked for me, it might not work for you. everyone's hair reacts to chemicals in a different way. i guess the one i can kind of say you can try to make your hair shinier with is probably lemon juice. a lot of girls use it to make their hair shiny. lol. good luck=) p.s. i need luck too. haha
It sounds nasty, but mayonaise will make your hair really soft. Put mayo in your hair, put on a shower cap and leave it on for about 10-20 minutes (depending on how long you can take it); then shampoo and condition as usual and your hair will be silky soft.
Another really good thing to make your hair soft--you take a handful of baking soda and make a paste with it by mixing it with water. Apply it to your wet head and rinse. Then shampoo and condition your hair...this works wonders because it strips out all of the product build-up from your hair.

Earlier ive tried Lakme EnricheLipColor,but it turned my lips darker and had a mild rash,for which, i have to stop using the Lakme brand. Ever since then, im a bit much concerned and stopped buying any lipsticks until i get my lips back in to my original color.
So,no ive been trying to get a lipstick and wondering whether Revlon Colorstay soft and smooth lip color would suit my lips(like not causing any allergies etc).

I just bought it for the first time a few weeks ago. It's the first long-wearing one I've tried. I haven't had any problems. The colour I bought is a mauve colour, not that dark, so I can't really say for sure if a darker colour would stain your lips.
I really like it. It smells good, and the topcoat has a mildly sweet flavour and a nice smell. I bought a lip liner to match, which comes in handy to correct it when I mess up a little on the outer edge of my lips with the lipstick.
The main negative is that as it wears off during the day and I reapply the topcoat, it sometimes feels a little gritty. I think it is from bits of the base coat coming off, but it is not a big deal to me.
I do not have many allergies, so I am not the canary in the coalmine for this. :)Revlon Colorstay soft and smooth lip color??is it ok to buy one?
For sensitive lips I'd suggest Estee Lauder lipsticks.
but i have not tried Revlon yet. It might be good but i've heard that revlon makeup isn't good in general . It ranks lower than Maybelline..

First person, you are incredibly rude. Revlon is a very high quality drug store brand. MAC users and make up gurus have confirmed that. Plus, MAC's expensive. So it's nice to have a high quality make up at a low price.
What is so special about Revlon? Have you tried Krylon or MAC brands? These two brands are mostly used for TV serial makeup, photoshoot makeup, models.

I have used the AgeDefying Face Primer and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I would not have normally used this primer, but it came with a Revlon Age Defying Foundation I was purchasing as a free gift. After trying it and actually looking at the difference (a photo taken a day or so before getting the primer) and photos taken by myself after getting the primer, it just looks so much better WITH primer. I am basing this totally on what ppl have told me (that my makeup looks smoother) and the photos. It seems to make my foundation go on more evenly and I dont have darker spots (I used to sometimes get darker spots between my eyebrows for some reason...go figure). Anyway, it works well and I dont want to go without primer now. How I use it is right after my moisturizer.
I went to Sephora today and had a coupon for a free Bare Minerals sample. They have me the free sample of foundation with a free mini Kabuki brush...as well as squirted out a FREE SAMPLE of the Bare Minerals version of Face Primer (Called Prime Time). I havent got to try it on my face yet, but on my hand, it felt very slick, but evened out. It almost felt like plastic wrap when It blended in...weird feeling...possibly much more potent than the revlon brand.healthy hair
