im from india(hyderabad)here i could find only two varieties of straighteners, remington and revlon i cant decide which is good does anyone can give details of these two and tell me which is best of them.i heard a lot about ghds.what company manufatures it what is ghd means in fullI want to know which one is good?
I would definitely NOT recommend a CHI. There are nicer more reliable irons out there. And the revlon and remington are lower quality irons. GHD is a brand and it is one of the top of the line irons right now.
The better irons are less damagin to your hair. When I straighten hair I usually use Straight with a couple of drops of Smooth Down Heat Glide both by Redken. You need thermal protection or you will fry your hair.
I always recommend people do some research when they buy a flat iron, because it is an investment.
Here are some links to help you:

I have used several over the years...CHI, Paul Mitchell, FHI...My favorite is the one I am currently using. It is the Paul Brown Hawaii. Ive been using it for over 2 years and it still works beautiful. My friend uses the Sedu on all her clients %26amp; she likes that brand. I guess it just depends on personal preference. Anyway..hope that helps.I want to know which one is good?
The ONLY straightener to use is a CHI. You can get them for pretty cheap on ebay, since you are in India. You probably have thicker hair, and a Revlon and Remington is not going to be hot or strong enough for your hair. You need a very hot iron like the CHI. They are the best straightener on the market.
